Niacinamide also known as Nicotinic Acid is a B vitamin, specifically Vitamin B3. Topical use of niacinamide has shown to reduce redness and irritation. Niacinamide has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that complement the cell communicating role. These properties make Niacinamide an excellent conditioning agent that reduces the harshness of the additional active ingredients contained within the formula.
