Ascorbyl Palmitate is a fat-soluble ester form of Ascorbic Acid or Vitamin C that became a very popular ingredient used lately in cosmetics and dermatology.

Green Tea Extract is a very potent antioxidant and popular cosmetic ingredient. Apparently it can prevent collagen breakdown and
provides protection from UV light.

Hydrocortisone is a well-known corticosteroid which is commonly used for several conditions that involve an inflammatory process. It is available in various strengths, forms of administration and brand names. Topically it is used to reduce redness, swelling, itch,
irritation of the skin.

Hydroquinone is a commonly used skincare ingredient both OTC and prescription strength. What is known for certain is that hydroquinone is a strong inhibitor of melanin production and for over 50 years has been established as the most effective ingredient
for reducing and potentially eliminating brown skin discolorations on skin often referred to as melasma.

Kojic Acid is a naturally occurring, hydrophilic fungal product derived from certain species of fungi. It acts by inhibiting the production of free tyrosinase; it is also a potent antioxidant. There is definitely convincing research, showing that Kojic Acid is
effective for inhibiting melanin production.

Vitamin E is represented by groups of compounds known as tocopherols and tocotrienols. It has many functions in the body, most important one being the antioxidant function. Applied topically vitamin E protects the skin cell from free radicals damage.

Vitamin E Acetate has many biological functions, the antioxidant one being the most important and best known. Vitamin E oil prevents the formation of wrinkles by blocking free radical damage.
